Ukrainian singer Ani Lorak (Karolina Kuek) broke her silence for the first time since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine. She left a post on social networks, addressing all the fans – from Russia and from Ukraine.

“I close my eyes and mentally embrace everyone who reads these lines,” she pointed out. The performer noted that her heart “is overflowing with love, pain, compassion, fear, anxiety.”

At the same time, she called the scene her life. The artist admitted that she can live when she breathes “the same air” with her fans. “I sing while my songs touch your soul,” Ani wrote.

At the same time, Lorak turned off the ability to comment on her post.

After the start of the special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the singer remained silent about her attitude to what was happening. At the same time, the artist’s silence caused a break in relations with her best friend, a Ukrainian gymnast. Lilia Podkopayeva, which gave the singer an ultimatum. The athlete told her that it would not work to remain silent, and she needed to make a choice between her homeland or “career and dough.”

Meanwhile, in August, the Ukrainian singer confirmed on her official Internet portal that she would not give concerts in Russia in 2022. All upcoming performances that were scheduled in Russian cities have been removed from the celebrity website. Now Lorak will perform only in Germany and the Czech Republic.
