Android will make it easier to find information about unfamiliar phone numbers – Kommersant

American corporation Google develops a feature that will help Android phone users quickly find out information about calls from unfamiliar phone numbers. The Lookup tool in the Google Phone app allows you to Google an incoming phone call right from the app.

The Google Phone app is installed by default on Pixel smartphones, but users of other Android smartphones can also download it. When the user sees an unfamiliar number in the list of incoming calls, they can select it and select the Lookup function in the menu that appears, after which the number will be copied to the Google search engine – all that remains is to try to find information about the owner.

The tool may not help you find out the information you need, but it will make the search faster and more convenient. Currently, owners of the beta version of Google Phone can take advantage of the new feature. It is not yet known when the Lookup tool will appear in stable versions of the application.
