Android OS replaces iOS from Russia

The share of Android smartphones sold in Russia in Q1 2023 increased year-on-year, taking part of the iOS market. In pieces, the indicator increased from 85.6 to 89.6% (from 5.65 million to 5.83 million units per quarter), in money – from 60.1 to 63.5% (from 89.8 billion to 107 8 billion rubles) from the entire smartphone market. At the same time, the share of Apple devices on iOS over the same period decreased both in unit and in monetary terms. In pieces, sales of smartphones on this OS decreased from 14.4 to 10.4% (from 951,000 to 677,000 units), in money – from 39.9 to 36.5% (from 71.58 billion to 51.6 billion rubles).
