The fight in the category up to 71 kilograms, in which the famous Khabarovsk boxer, the bronze medalist of the Olympics in London and Tokyo, is now competing, turned out to be difficult. Zamkovy was opposed by the world champion among military personnel, a young but very promising fighter, Ivan Stupin. By the way, he also played for the team of the Khabarovsk Territory.
Ivan tried to seize the initiative from the very beginning and by the third round he succeeded. The opinions of the judges were divided – the duel turned out to be very stubborn, but in the end the victory went to Ivan Stupin. Andrey Zamkovy climbed to the second step of the podium.
The third medal for the region was won by Saveliy Sadoma, who won the final fight in the category up to 80 kilograms, the government of the Khabarovsk Territory noted.
