In Russian volleyball, it is now the off-season, the players are enjoying their holidays, and the information space is rarely, but filled with official news from the camp of the Superleague teams, where the Nizhny Novgorod ASK has been playing for the last few seasons. Since 2016, Andrei Dranishnikov has been the head coach of ASK, it was with him that the red-blacks went from the Higher League to the Super League.
In the 2023-2024 season, the Nizhny Novgorod volleyball graduate will continue to coach the city’s main team. The ASC management decided to extend the contract with the youngest coach of the Superleague for one more season. Already at the end of July, Nizhny Novgorod residents will come out of vacation and begin preparations for the start of the Superleague, training camps of the VK ASK will be held in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The upcoming season will be Andrey Dranishnikov’s eighth in the system of the Nizhny Novgorod club.
