In Novosibirsk, during the match between HC Siberia and Sochi, hockey players started a violent fight. The opponents were “snowman” Andy Andreoff and “Sochi resident” Fedor Kroschinsky.
The incident occurred near the end of the first period. For an unknown reason, the players got into a verbal altercation, which literally escalated into a brawl within seconds. Kroschinsky took off his helmet, then both players took off their gloves and began hitting each other with powerful blows to the head.
The fight lasted more than a minute, then the fighters were separated. For violating the rules, both received a five-minute penalty.
