The desired salary for Russian citizens in 2024 is on average 123.5 thousand rubles. per month, experts from SberAnalytics and the Rabota.ru service found out. The highest salary expectations are observed among Russians aged 30 to 34 years – 137.8 thousand rubles. per month. However, now men receive an average of 88.3 thousand rubles. rub., women – 61.2 thousand rubles.
Based on the results of a survey of 3.5 thousand Russians from all regions of the country, experts found that the salary wishes of men and women correlate with their age. Thus, young people aged 18 to 24 years in 2024 would like to earn 96.3 thousand rubles, and girls – 96.5 thousand rubles. Women aged 25 to 29 would like to receive 126.7 thousand rubles, and men – 118.8 thousand rubles.
The highest salary expectations are observed among Russians aged 30–34 years. Men in this age group would like to receive 146.9 thousand rubles, and women – 111.2 thousand rubles. Russians aged 35 to 39 years plan to earn 135.9 thousand rubles. per month, from 40 to 44 years old – 125.1 thousand rubles, from 50 to 54 years old – 135.9 thousand rubles, over 55 years old – 110.6 thousand rubles.
According to Rosstat, in the Russian Federation as a whole, the average accrued salary in 2023 was 73.7 thousand rubles. The maximum gap between Russian regions in terms of average salary is 4.4 times. The highest nominal accrued salaries were recorded in the Chukotka (158 thousand rubles per month) and Yamalo-Nenets (145 thousand rubles) autonomous districts, as well as in Moscow (136 thousand rubles). The minimum is in Ingushetia (36 thousand rubles) and Chechnya (37 thousand rubles).
