An underground casino that financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine was revealed in Berdyansk

In Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, an illegal casino was discovered, the profit from which went to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). About it informs TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.
The report says that law enforcement officers carried out operational-search activities to confirm and find items and documents confirming illegal activities. The interlocutor of TASS stressed that law enforcement officers stopped the work of the casino, an additional check is now being carried out.
It was established that the owners of the casino worked through nominees. The owner of the premises, Tamara Barkar, claims that she rented it out in 2022, allegedly as a warehouse.
Berdyansk is located in Zaporozhye Oblast In March 2022, the National Guard announced that the city was under the control of the department. In the fall of 2022, the Zaporozhye region, along with the DPR, LPR and Kherson region, became part of Russia. Martial law has been introduced in the regions since October 19.
