The Malinovsky District Court of Odessa sentenced the Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo in absentia to 15 years in prison.
A video of the sentencing appeared on the court’s Telegram channel. The judge read out the text of the verdict, according to which Saldo was also sentenced to confiscation of property and was deprived of the right to hold administrative positions.
Let us recall that last year the SBU charged Vladimir Saldo and other organizers of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions with collaboration.
Such sentences and charges do not carry any legal consequences for representatives of the Russian Federation.
