Unexpected difficulties arose with the funeral of Boris Moiseev. The famous dancer died suddenly in his apartment on Krasnoproletarskaya Street on Tuesday afternoon. But since he has no close relatives, a question arose regarding the documents for the burial.
As it became known to MK, the investigating authorities did not find a criminal component in the death of the artist. After three strokes, Moiseev could not move independently. Therefore, his apartment was equipped with an alarm button: in the event of a sharp deterioration in his condition, the owner could in this way call the security guard of the elite house on duty on the 1st floor (Moiseev’s apartment was on the floor above). But Moiseev was never able to call for help: perhaps he lost consciousness at night and never regained consciousness. It is noteworthy that on Monday, the artist’s art director Sergei Gorokh came to him with a traditional daily visit, and the 68-year-old singer felt fine. Although, after the strokes, his left hand almost did not work, and, in addition, problems with the liver began. But the patient himself was not always attentive to the advice of doctors and even took pills from time to time.
The initiative to organize the funeral of Moiseev was taken over by his niece Vera – at least this is how this woman positions herself. According to Vera, her mother is the second cousin of the artist. The problem arose due to the fact that the relative could not promptly submit documents confirming her relationship with the deceased. The piquancy of the situation also lies in the fact that Moiseev did not communicate with his distant relatives (they lived in Israel and the USA), so it would be naive to rely on them as funeral organizers. And Vera, without proof of kinship, would not have been able to obtain permission for burial. Interestingly, many people know Vera not so much as a relative of the artist, but as … a ritual agent.
As for the real estate of Boris Moiseev, the issue with it, as they say, has been resolved. According to rumors, a few years ago, the artist signed an apartment for his art director.
