An international 3×3 basketball tournament will be held in Ivanovo

Ivanovo and the Palace of Team Sports have long been a place where major basketball tournaments are held. If the residents of Ivanovo are accustomed to the matches of the Women’s Super League, then from October 4 to 6 the Palace of Team Sports will host competitions at a slightly different level than the All-Russian one. If only domestic teams played at the pre-season Litvinov tournament and the qualifying stage of the Russian Cup, international matches will take place in early October.
From October 4 to 6, the Palace of Team Sports will host competitions among student teams “Orange Atom” and “Russia-Belarus Friendship League”. Fans of Ivanovo basketball will be able to watch matches of the best student teams of Russia and Belarus in the 3×3 format.
For the first time, the parquet floor of the Palace of Team Sports will host international competitions in a discipline that is included in the program of the Olympic Games. Representatives of Ivanovo “Energia” will take part in the matches between the teams of Russia and Belarus.
