On August 6, in Tarko-Sale, cyclists competed in cross-country, an extreme cross-country cycling race. The head of the Purovsky district Anton Kolodin spoke about the event.
“We are developing cycling in Tarko-Sale. Every year there are more and more participants in the cycling race. The obstacles were difficult, but everyone coped,” the head of the municipality wrote on his social media pages.
He noted that next weekend – August 12 and 13 – the district stage of the velodrive competitions will be held in the Coastal Park as part of the Northern Character regional project.
Recall that last year, the Governor of the YNAO Dmitry Artyukhov, during his “Honest Route”, met with residents of Tarkosalinsky, who are fond of cross-country. Daria Mekheda, chairman of the NOVATEK-North trade union organization, spoke about the Velodrive festival held in the city and noted that she would like to make the track longer. Head of the region supported this initiative.
