The SBU filed charges against an employee of the Supreme Court of Ukraine for supporting Russia’s actions
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), in a publication on its official telegram channel, reported that one of the employees of the Ukrainian Supreme Court was charged with supporting Russia’s actions.
The agency’s publication states that SBU employees collected evidence on the head of one of the structural divisions of the Ukrainian Supreme Court. In particular, the intelligence service claims that in conversations with subordinates, the accused denied the sovereignty of Ukraine and spoke out in support of the actions of the Russian Armed Forces.
The SBU clarified that an employee of the Supreme Court of Ukraine is accused under the Criminal Code article on “justifying, recognizing as lawful and denying” Russian actions, regarded by the Ukrainian authorities as “aggression,” and he is also accused of glorifying participants in a special military operation (SVO). It is noted that the accused faces up to eight years in prison followed by confiscation of property.
