Foreman of the forest fire department of the Karelian Forest Protection Center Alexander Vyzhimov took first place in the all-Russian competition. How reported in the group of the Aviation Forestry of the Republic, on September 7, Alexander beat 24 participants from all over the country in the forest orienteering competition. He completed the distance in 57 minutes 12 seconds.
Orienteering is one of the disciplines in which participants of the “Best Forest Firefighter – 2023” competition compete. The competitions take place in Moscow.
Previously, a young orienteer from Petrozavodsk conquered “gold” in all-Russian competitions.
