In the area where the state of emergency continues to operate after the flood, an emergency storm warning has been announced. A squally increase in wind is possible, the formation of tornadoes, and there is also a high probability of a rise in the water level in rivers and watercourses, the occurrence of emergencies, the headquarters said.
The head of the Tuapse district, Sergei Boyko, informed in his telegram channel that it was already raining in Novomikhailovsky and Dzhubga settlements, emergency services were ready to work around the clock. Local residents and tourists are asked to stay at home.
Earlier it was reported that a number of settlements in the Tuapse district were flooded as a result of heavy rains. The water entered the houses, of which there are more than 290, flooded about 650 adjacent territories, and social facilities were damaged.
Starting Monday, compensation will begin to be paid to the victims.
