An athlete from Kostomuksha Valery Zhurba won another victory. As Valery wrote on his VKontakte page, on August 20 he ran 3 kilometers at the marathon in Cherepovets in 11 minutes 27 seconds.
“I have long wanted to visit the city of one of the largest metallurgical plants in Russia, Severstal, built in 1955, where our mining and processing enterprise Karelsky Okatysh sends its products,” – wrote Valery.
For the 69-year-old athlete, this is the 7th competition over the summer and already the 6th gold medal. So in July conquered two “gold” at the athletics championship in the Republic of Belarus.
