Seismologists recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 159 kilometers from the village of Omsukchan, Magadan region. This was reported to RIA Novosti in the Magadan branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“The earthquake this time occurred at a depth of 13 kilometers, 159 kilometers from the village of Omsukchan. This time, some residents again felt tremors, although it was shaking at night. There is no damage,” the statement said.
This is the second earthquake in a few days. On March 19, the magnitude of the earthquake near the village of Omsukchan was 5.1 points.
Last night, March 21, an earthquake of magnitude 6.5 happened in Afghanistan. It was felt in neighboring countries – India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
