From the beginning of February, a free athletics section began operating at the Spartak stadium.
This became possible after the reconstruction of the stadium, which is now an important sports facility for training future champions. The training process of municipal sports schools, including football and cross-country skiing departments, is organized here.
One of the first training sessions was attended by the head of Serpukhov, Sergei Nikitenko. The age of the participants varies from 6 to 18 years. Registration for training is already underway through the “Moscow Region Sports” platform, which indicates high interest in this sport.
The development of athletics among youth is of great importance, since sport affects the physical and psychological development of children and adolescents. It also contributes to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people.
The strengths and capabilities of athletes will be able to be fully realized in professional competitions when the athletics department opens before March 1.
