An athlete from Voronezh became the winner of the international freestyle wrestling tournament

On March 12, the traditional international freestyle wrestling tournament for the Cup of Andrei Shumilin, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, participant in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, ended in Kaliningrad. More than a hundred people under the age of 24 from 25 subjects of the country, as well as guests from Belarus and Abkhazia, participated in the competition.
According to the results of the tournament, Anton Pushechkin from Voronezh became a bronze medalist in the weight category up to 92 kg. In the course of the competition, the young Voronezh wrestler lost to Alan Bagaev, who won the gold award of the prestigious tournament.
The athlete from Voronezh shared the bronze medal with Ruslan Kalinin from Kaliningrad.
