An athlete from Vladivostok became the third at the Fire and Rescue Sports Cup in Kazan

Victoria Makeeva from Vladivostok took the “bronze” of the Cup of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in fire and rescue sports, the administration of the capital of Primorye. She played in the national team of Primorsky Krai.
The girl became the third in the assault ladder discipline among girls aged 15-16. The tournament was held in Kazan and brought together more than 300 athletes from all over Russia.
Participants from 27 regions completed three tests: an obstacle course, climbing the assault ladder and a biathlon. The best athletes will go as part of the national team to the summer world championship in fire and rescue sports in Saransk.
For some guys, the competition is not just a sport, but professional training: many of them will become lifeguards in the future. All equipment at such tournaments is used to put out real fires.
