Oryol athlete Varvara Golovina became the champion of Russia in karate. This is reported in the press service of the regional government. Recall that the Russian Karate Championship was held in Orel from 18 to 20 August. It was attended by 350 people from 44 regions.
Honorary guests from the regional administration, the regional council, the Karate Federation of Russia, as well as the master of sports of international class, the winner of the European and world championships in karate Anton Gavrilov attended the grand opening of the competition.
The large-scale championship has become a landmark event for Orel and the region. He gave a new impetus to the development of karate in our region.
According to the results of the competition, the Oryol athlete Varvara Golovina became the champion of Russia in the weight category up to 50 kilograms. 3 more of our countrymen Asiman Mammadov, Alexander Kalinin and Tatyana Mironova received bronze medals.
