Anton Nesterenko from Solnechnogorsk became the winner of the annual Kildin Ultra Grand Escape at a distance of 80 kilometers. The athlete overcame them in 8 hours 39 minutes and 35 seconds and finished first. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the region.
The competitions were held on the island of Kildin in the Barents Sea. More than 1000 athletes participated in them. Anton Nesterenko ran the most difficult distance of the Lost World 80 marathon with a climb of 3200 meters. The athlete admitted that the weather was cool, and the distance was not the most running, but this did not affect his results.
Anton Nesterenko became the winner of such competitions as the Golden Ring Ultra Trail 100, Zuratkul Fest, the night ultramarathon Crazy Owl 50 Zavidovo, the Gold of Senezh Rogaining Festival and others.
