An athlete from Petrozavodsk rode a bicycle to the Arctic Ocean

Athlete Denis Potapov traveled from Petrozavodsk to Teriberka in the Murmansk region on a bicycle. He left Petrozavodsk on June 28 and spent less than two weeks on the road, driving more than 100 kilometers a day. The traveler spoke about the traveled path in his telegram channel.

“I am in Teriberka! Got it. It was complicated”, – wrote Denis on the night of July 10th.

According to the athlete, the last tens of kilometers of the way he had to drive along a dirt road, hard stones and sand, with constant uphill climbs.

After Teriberka, the athlete will go to the extreme northern point of the Murmansk region, to the Rybachy Peninsula.
