Kenyan Eric Kering became the winner of the 34th Siberian International Marathon among men.
He finished in a time of 2 hours 15 minutes and 3 seconds. The athlete complained that he had to overcome the track for more than 42 kilometers under the scorching sun at a temperature of + 30 degrees. In such conditions, he has not yet run.
Among women, the gold of the marathon distance was won by Alina Prokopyeva. She is the current champion of Russia in athletics. Her result is 2 hours 35 minutes 42 seconds.
The athlete thanked the Omsk fans for their support and said that she could not let them down.
