An athlete from Karelia has no equal in a knee jump

Athletes from Karelia have won gold, silver and bronze medals at the Bering Games, an indigenous peoples of the Arctic competition held in Chukotka, the Sports Training Center reported.
Grigory Romanenko took 1st place in the knee jump discipline and 3rd place in the Alaskan kick discipline
Stanislav Chernyavsky climbed to the highest step of the podium, having excellently subtracted the discipline of pulling the ribbon with his head
Victoria Vovk was awarded the 2nd place in the discipline of reaching with one hand
As noted in the CSP, Russian regions of the Arctic zone participate in the Beringia Games: Karelia, Komi, Yakutia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Arkhangelsk Region, Murmansk Region, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as subjects of the Far Eastern Federal districts.
Competitions are held among women and men in eight types of programs: triple national jump, Alaskan kick, knee jump, high kick with one leg, reach with one hand, kick with two legs, pulling the ribbon with the head, pulling the stick.
