An athlete from Kabardino-Balkaria became the winner of the Russian Youth Kudo Championship

The 30th Russian Kudo Championship among youth and juniors ended in Moscow. More than 400 of the strongest athletes from 56 regions of the country took part in it.
Three athletes from Kabardino-Balkaria competed in the North Caucasus team: Arthur Betrozov, Baslan Khutov and Idar Nadzirov, the press service of the republican government reported.
According to the results of the competition, Beslan Khutov became the champion in the age category of 16-17 years. Having won all the matches, Beslan won a gold medal, which brought the North Caucasian Federal District team third place in the team. The champion is trained by Ruslan Shogenov.
It was previously reported that Karatekas of Kabardino-Balkaria won 9 medals at the World Championships.
