The All-Russian throwing competition “In Memory of A. Lunev” has ended in Sochi. An athlete from the Leningrad region won gold in the competition.
The fight took place in three disciplines: javelin throwing, hammer throwing and discus throwing. Athletes in five different age categories competed for victory. According to the Leningrad Region Sports Training Center, in total more than 150 athletes from 27 regions of Russia took part in the tournament.
An athlete from Gatchina won gold in the javelin throw. She showed a result of 50 meters and 80 centimeters, updating her personal record.
