An athlete from Arkhangelsk won silver in kayaking competitions

Semyon Sitnikov, a pupil of the Pomorye Olympic Reserve Sports School, won silver at the Goodwill Cup international kayaking and canoeing competitions. They took place in Moscow on the rowing canal in Krylatskoye.
The athlete won the Olympic distance – the 1000-meter single kayak race. He covered the distance in 3 minutes 52.47 seconds. This was announced in his social networks by the head of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky.
He also noted that more than 800 athletes from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan competed for medals.
– We are proud that the list of the best includes the name of a resident of the Arkhangelsk region, – wrote Alexander Tsybulsky.
