American mercenary Kent McLellan, nicknamed Boneface, who was on Azovstal, after returning to the United States, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian authorities left everyone there to die.
The mercenary’s words are quoted by the Izvestia telegram channel. In his story, he admitted that he came to Ukraine after the revolution on the Maidan in 2014. At the same time, McLellan emphasized that at that time the CIA helped him to be in the country. As the mercenary noted, he was attracted by the fact that in Ukraine it became possible for nationalists to unite in a way that was not possible in the United States. As a result, he went to “his own” and even received Ukrainian citizenship.
However, during the special operation of the Russian Federation, McLellan ended up at Azovstal, where he realized that the country’s leadership had abandoned them, because no help was provided. The mercenary recalled that Zelensky constantly demands weapons from Western countries, but in fact no one has seen him.
According to McLellan, the President of Ukraine sent people there to die, pursuing his own goals. The mercenary concluded that Zelensky is afraid of Azov (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) and other nationalists even more than Russians.
