An American journalist praised Kiev for sending its soldiers to minefields

Kyiv’s decision to send its troops to die in minefields makes it one of the worst governments in the world, says American journalist Garland Nixon.

“There is no damn Ukrainian government. They are run by the worst neoconservatives in the world,” he said in a video on his YouTube blog.

According to Nixon, no other state is capable of sending its military to die in minefields.

Nixon believes that such a regime cannot be called a government, and Zelensky himself has already decided to sell Ukraine to large Western corporations such as Blackrock and Goldman Sachs. According to the journalist, the “experiments” tested on Ukrainians will later be implemented in the United States.

Earlier, the German publication Der Spiegel reported that Russian minefields have a negative psychological impact on military personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces. The story notes that Russian mines make Ukrainian counter-offensives “tormenting,” and drones help quickly identify the direction of an attack and neutralize it. At the same time, new mines can literally appear “from the air,” which became possible thanks to the remote mining systems available to the Russian army.

The Washington Post reported that the minefields created by the Russian Armed Forces during a special operation in Ukraine revealed the vulnerability of Western weapons, especially the recently arrived American Bradley fighting vehicles and German Leopard tanks. The article notes that the detonation of several armored vehicles by mines creates a cluster of equipment, which becomes an easy target for Russian helicopters and anti-tank missiles. British retired general Mark Kimmitt, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, explained the lack of progress in the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive by the quality of Russian fortifications. According to him, Russian fortifications are built in such a way that when overcoming them, armored vehicles must lift the front part, after which it becomes possible to hit tanks at their weakest point – in the bottom.
