A family scandal helped the police solve a crime against a first-grader in a metropolitan family. The law enforcement officers who went to the apartment on a report of a fight, instead of a brawler, detained an 80-year-old pedophile.
As it became known to MK, in March last year, a resident of the capital unexpectedly entered the room and saw her daughter, a kindergarten graduate, on her father-in-law’s lap. The elderly man is not the baby’s grandfather, but the father of her stepfather.
The woman thought this was strange, and later she asked her daughter in more detail. The girl admitted that her grandfather repeatedly molested her. The pensioner presented it as a game.
An elderly man tearfully asked his daughter-in-law to forgive him and kept saying that he was “beguiled by a demon”. The woman was afraid to injure her daughter’s psyche and decided not to contact law enforcement agencies.
Meanwhile, what happened marked the beginning of scandals in the family. A Muscovite could not forgive her husband for refusing to discuss what had happened with her father. In January of this year, the couple divorced, and in March the woman began to transport her things to her parents.
On the evening of March 27, during the preparations, another scandal occurred, during which the ex-husband asked his father to call the police so that the lady would leave the apartment as soon as possible. And the ex-father-in-law attacked her with his fists.
The indignant woman herself called the police squad, and then told the law enforcement officers not only about the fight in the apartment, but also about the actions of the ex-father-in-law in relation to the child.
She explained that she always followed her husband, as she had repeatedly read in the press about an unhealthy interest that a stepfather might have in his stepdaughter. But she could not even imagine that the danger could come from an 80-year-old pensioner.
A criminal case was initiated, an elderly man was detained.
