“Amur Tigresses” from Khabarovsk will play with “Lokomotiv-Angora” in the semi-finals

The Khabarovsk women’s volleyball team advances to the next stage of the Siberian and Far East Cup from second place in Group B

The final match of the preliminary stage of the Siberian and Far East Cup, currently taking place in Irkutsk “Amur Tigresses” spent with principled rivals from Dynamo Vladivostok. The fighting neighbors from Primorye were more than motivated for this fight.

The battle on the Irkutsk parquet floor broke out in earnest. It took five sets to determine the winner. The first set was left to the Primorsk team – 19:25. In the second game, Alexander Shchurin’s team won – 25:17. The third, also carried out in a bitter struggle, remained for Khabarovsk – 25:19. But in the fourth set, Primorye managed to level the score in games – 2:2 (20:25). The fate of the match was decided in the fifth game. And unfortunately, in the tiebreaker the “tigresses” lost to Dynamo – 10:15. The match score is 2:3.

Group “A” Lokomotiv-Angara (Irkutsk) – Tyumen-Priboy (Tyumen region) 3:0 (25:11, 25:12, 25:21)

As a result, in group “A” in first place is the host team of the tournament “Lokomotiv-Angara”, in second place is Novosibirsk “Olympus”, in third place is “Tyumen-Priboy”, Chita’s “Zabaikalka” closes the group.

IN group “B” “Dynamo-Vladivostok” is in the lead, “Amur Tigresses” from Khabarovsk are in second place, Barnaul “Altai-AGAU” is in third, Krasnoyarsk youth team “Yenisey-2” is in fourth.

Already on Saturday, “Tyumen-Priboi”, “Yenisei-2”, “Altai-AGAU” and “Zabaikalochka” will compete for 5th-8th places. In the semi-finals for 1-4 places there will be matches between Lokomotiv-Angara – Amur Tigress and Dynamo-Vladivostok – Olimp. We’re rooting for our team; support would really help them.
