Khabarovsk club “Amur” became the last participant in the play-offs of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for the 2023/24 season. “Amur” advanced to the play-offs ahead of schedule after Nizhnekamsk’s “Neftekhimik” lost to “Dynamo” Minsk with a score of 1:2.
The meeting between Neftekhimik and Dynamo took place in the presence of 13,790 spectators. For Dynamo, goals were scored by Robert Hamilton (19th minute) and Vyacheslav Osnovin (30th minute). Alexander Dergachev scored a goal for the Nizhnekamsk club (in the 51st minute).
Neftekhimik is in ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings, with 66 points in 66 matches. Khabarovsk “Amur” with 70 points from 65 games is in eighth place in the table. The upcoming Gagarin Cup will be Amur’s first participation in the KHL playoffs since 2019.
