ABC: Residents of an American town in Ohio wanted to barricade themselves from Biden
Residents of the town of East Palestine, Ohio, wanted to barricade themselves from the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden. They asked local transport company owner Harry Allison to block the entrance to the village. This was reported by ABC television.
In early February 2023, a train derailed in East Palestine, transporting chemicals. The substances caught fire and local authorities had to evacuate residents. The accident led to serious environmental pollution.
Joe Biden avoided traveling to the town, sending administration officials to the town until Friday, February 16th. After the disaster, an Ohio resident was outraged by the spending of money from the US budget on Ukraine.
“Several people called me and asked if I could block the entrance to the city so that he could not come,” said Harry Allison, saying that Trump’s visit was related to the upcoming elections.
The entrepreneur also said that he lost part of his income, since many of his tenants who rented property from him left the town after the accident.
