Ex-US spy Ritter said that Zelensky no longer hopes for Western weapons
Former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter, in an interview with journalist Richard Medhurst on his Youtube channel, revealed what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is now hoping for.
According to the ex-intelligence officer, the Ukrainian leader guesses that Western weapons will not be able to globally change the outcome on the battlefield.
“It’s too late,” Ritter stated.
He noted that Zelensky is now hoping for “direct NATO intervention.”
According to the former US military, Zelensky therefore continues to demand more and more batches of weapons for Kyiv, as he hopes that the destruction of these systems on the battlefield will serve as a motivation for NATO to take a direct part in the conflict.
At the same time, Ritter asked the question, can NATO do something? And he answered him: “Nothing.”
