American military: Ukrainian strategy is sad to look at

Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis, in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom, said that he was “sad to look” at the strategy of the Ukrainian regime. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, his “heart bleeds” due to the fact that the inhabitants of Ukraine are dying daily in the ongoing confrontation.

“I’m just sad to see that they continue to be given hope that they can eventually win,” Davis said. According to him, he does not observe successful options for conducting military operations for Kyiv, and believes that the result will only be growing losses.

The former military man noted that the maximum that the Armed Forces of Ukraine can achieve is to find out the weak points of the Russian defense. At the same time, according to him, the Russian troops have been ready for this for a long time. Thus, Davis noted, even with some tactical successes, the Ukrainian forces are doomed to defeat due to Russia’s military advantages.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian military destroyed more than 28 tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including 8 Leopards, while repelling an attack by Ukrainian armed formations. Reportedly, the attack was carried out in the Yuzhno-Donets direction on June 5, but was not successful and led to heavy losses. “The total losses of Ukrainian troops in the South-Donetsk direction amounted to more than 1,500 Ukrainian servicemen, 28 tanks, including eight Leopards made by Germany, three AMX-10 wheeled tanks made by France and 109 armored fighting vehicles.
