The press service of the US Aerospace Department released statementwhich reports the death of retired NASA astronaut Colonel Frank Borman.
NASA clarified that the ex-astronaut died on November 7 in Billings, Montana, at the age of 95.
“Astronaut Frank Borman was a true American hero… He was the commander of the Apollo 8 mission, humanity’s first mission around the moon in 1968,” the agency said, noting his love of aviation and exploration.
