After the incident with the honoring of the Ukrainian SS soldier Yaroslav Hunka in the Canadian Parliament, Russia may initiate a criminal case. This statement was made on Wednesday, September 27, by the Russian Ambassador to Ottawa Oleg Stepanov.

The diplomat noted that “Russia is studying the story with Hunka,” and “it is possible to initiate a criminal case and subsequently send a request for his extradition.”

Previously, the governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo called for resignation everyone who applauded Nazi Huncke in the Canadian Parliament. As the regional head noted, Speaker of the House of Representatives Anthony Rota was forced to resign, showing for the hundredth time to the whole world that Ukrainian nationalism poisons everything it touches.

A similar opinion was expressed by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, noting that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau must resign from their positions.
