In the foreseeable future, improvement in Russian-American relations is not expected. This opinion was expressed on Tuesday, September 5, by Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov.
The diplomat noted that he is often asked the question “when will we improve Russian-American relations.”
In response, Antonov said that “in the near future this will not work for a number of reasons.” The Russian ambassador did not specify these reasons.
Earlier, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the Americans collectively committed huge sins against Russiaso “we must hope they can forgive us.”
At the same time, the candidate for the presidency of the United States from the Republican Party, Vivek Ramaswamy, said that the politician who will take this position after the election, will have to “open Russia” and achieve peace in Ukraine.
