The Department of Education of the capital announced the successes of graduates of the capital’s schools in the last academic year. As it turned out, every eighth graduate received a medal “For Special Achievement in Education”. It was given to those children who, firstly, for the last two years, in the 10th and 11th grades, showed excellent results in their studies, and secondly, confirmed them at the unified state certification, having received at least 220 points in three subjects of the Unified State Examination .
The largest number of medalists – 249 people was prepared by the school of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence. School No. 1580 produced 89 medalists, school No. 1253 – 63 medalists, school No. 1535 – 62 medalists.
In total, 6689 graduates of the eleventh grade received medals for excellent studies in the last academic year. Also medals were given to 1214 children who received the highest number of points when passing the Unified State Examination, 622 winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren and 19 graduates with disabilities. All of them were entitled to 10 additional points to the results of the Unified State Examination when entering universities.
