Alpine skiing competitions for the Governor’s Cup were held in Murmansk

Athletes and sportswomen aged 10-11 fought for the title of the best in the giant slalom discipline.
On Tuesday, December 27, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported on the results of the Alpine Skiing Governor’s Cup.
The tournament was held on the Southern slope in the capital of the Arctic, despite the inclement weather, more than 50 young athletes aged 10 to 11 from Murmansk, Kirovsk, Apatity, Monchegorsk and Karelia came to the start.
The first place among the boys was taken by an athlete from Medvezhyegorsk Alexander Guryev, the second and third went to the pupils of the sports school of the Olympic reserve Apatitov Faddey Konoplev and Artemy Ivanov.
Among girls, the best result was shown by Alina Voevodina from the sports school of the Olympic reserve No. 3 of Murmansk. On the second and third places respectively – Eva Mironova and Maryana Kotelnikova, also pupils of the Murmansk school.
Recall, earlier “MK in Murmansk” toldthat in the Murmansk region a competition is being held for the best decoration of windows and balconies.
