Alpine skier from Sakhalin became the second in slalom at the Russian Cup stage

In Belokurikha, Altai Territory, the stage of the Russian Cup in Alpine skiing has ended. Slalom races were held on the final day of the competition at the Blagodat Group of Companies. In men, Semen Efimov, representing the Moscow Region and Altai Territory, won his tenth victory of the season. In second place is Artem Kashintsev from Sakhalin, in third place is Miron Shcherbakov from Kamchatka, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region reported.
“Artem Kashintsev did not drive the second track as confidently as the first one, but the groundwork after the first run allowed him to keep the second line in the second race in a row,” noted the Russian Federation of Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding.
Island skiers Dmitry Pyshkin (fifth place), Yuri Drugov (seventh), Kirill Kazakov (eighth), Alexander Kudryavtsev (ninth) finished the competition near the podium.
“For women, the composition of yesterday’s top three winners remained unchanged, but inside the fight turned out to be very good,” the organizers shared.
The best time is with Maria Shkanova (Belarus). Silver medalist – Anastasia Gornostaeva (Moscow), bronze – Elena Yakovishina (Kamchatka).
The TOP-10 included Sakhalin athletes Sofya Krokhina (fifth place), Rinata Abdulkayumova (seventh) and Anna Shukhova (ninth).
Let us add that the Russian Cup is moving to the city of Krasnoyarsk at the Bobrovy Log Funpark, where competitions will be held from February 12 to 19.
