Almost two thousand houses are flooded in 36 regions of Russia – Kommersant

Due to the flood in 36 regions of Russia, 1,970 houses, more than 10 thousand household plots, 190 low-water bridges and 120 sections of roads were flooded. More than 3 thousand rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the flood, reported press service Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The department clarified that 1.1 thousand houses and 3,734 courtyards were flooded in the Orenburg region. In the region, 2,176 people were evacuated, including 509 children. There are 136 residents of the region in temporary accommodation centers (TAP). Mi-8 helicopters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in Orenburg.

In 46 settlements of the Altai Territory, 107 houses and 535 household plots were flooded, the ministry reported. There are 29 people at a temporary accommodation center in the region. Another 34 temporary temporary detention centers have been prepared in the region.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 656 residential buildings, 1,314 household plots, and eight low-water bridges were flooded in 27 settlements of the Samara region. 456 people were evacuated, including 74 children. There are 56 people in six temporary temporary detention centers in the region, including 11 children. Another 13 temporary accommodation points have been prepared in the region.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that rescuers are monitoring the situation using drones, providing targeted assistance to residents, organizing boat crossings, and delivering food and essential items.
