Almost 52 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia per day

During the day in Russia, the number of people infected with COVID-19 amounted to 51.7 thousand, which is 750 cases more than yesterday. The number of hospitalizations per day amounted to 3849 people and increased by 3.3% compared to the previous day.
Regions leading in the number of new cases:
- Moscow – 6634 (3 049 186);
- St. Petersburg – 3013 (1,667,749);
- Moscow region – 2256 (1,064,842);
- Krasnodar Territory – 1811 (299,408);
- Rostov region – 1588 (406,423).
During the day, 92 patients died in Russia, which is one person more than yesterday (91). The total number of deaths reached 384,624. 38,380 people recovered during the day, in total – 18,710,966.
Since July 1, all coronavirus restrictions have been lifted in Russia. In the country revealed the first cases of infection with a new, more contagious sub-variant of the centaur omicron strain. Roszdravnadzor recommended resume vaccination in the regions.
