The winner of the TV show admitted that she was able to win thanks to the blows of fate

Olga Zarubina won the new season of the Superstar show. In the final release, the star sang Alla Pugacheva’s song “They beat us – we fly.” There are rumors in the party that Pugacheva, who emigrated to Israel, played a significant role in Zarubina’s victory. They say that Alla called Olga and gave advice on how to correctly perform the final composition. In an interview with MK correspondents, Olga commented on this information for the first time.

Before the final, Zarubina made the organizers of the show pretty nervous. On the day of filming, the star felt unwell: Olga began to experience severe dizziness. Doctors were called to the site. True, they could not help Zarubina.

– I have long been concerned about problems with vegetatives, – explains Zarubina. – I recently had covid, and everything escalated. The dizziness on the day of the final was the strongest. I got up in the dressing room and everything swam before my eyes. To be honest, I was sure that I would not be able to go on stage. How it happened to sing in such a state, I still do not understand. As for Pugacheva’s help, Zarubina denies it. Olga assures: The prima donna did not give her any advice. But she herself did not call her: she was used to coping without the help of other people.

– With Alla, we did not call up: someone launched a “duck”, – says Zarubina. “We were never close friends. The song in my performance turned out to be so powerful because it seems to be written about me, about my life. I have suffered many blows of fate. But all of them were accepted with dignity. And I never showed in public that I felt bad or hurt.

The betrayal of the first husband (Alexander Malinin – author), heart problems in a newborn daughter, moving to America, returning to Russia – few people can endure such ups and downs of fate. And I didn’t break down, because I always knew that my audience was waiting for me. And they should see me only like this: strong and cheerful.
