The Department of Education and Science of Moscow denied the mass mailing of “stop lists” to schools with a list of banned artists whose music cannot be played at the school New Year’s disco. In total, the replicated list mentions 28 names and groups of musicians who either left or acquired an undesirable status due to their negative statements “in Ukraine”. “MK” tried to find out where the “legs grow” from the list, which caused a viral reaction on social networks.

“Real professionals work in our schools, who are able to choose music worthy for a children’s holiday,” the capital’s department of education diplomatically responded to the situation. And they added that schoolchildren “have a well-developed taste” in order to pick up dance music.

“It’s clearly not the Ministry of Education and the depobr that acted here,” comments a source from MK in the administration of the Moscow school. – Look, it’s clear that this is a screenshot from some messenger. Such recommendations, if they were, are not sent out in this form and at this level. A methodical letter, a letter from the ministry – this is how it is usually done. But we didn’t get anything like that.

I would venture to suggest that this is some kind of local history. Either the relationship of the school with its trustees, bosses, or it is generally intra-school correspondence. Someone is watching, reinsured. That is, the story with the “black list” affects one school or several, no more.

However, the administrator suggested that it could also be an initiative of some public organization with a patriotic bias. “The style is similar, all these themed discos, collection of topics from classes for the New Year … Obviously, this is written by a person of 20-30 years old, that is, young. But at the same time, he himself is not very versed in the teenage topic.

Indeed, it is rather strange not to recommend Zemfira, Boris Grebenshchikov, Vera Brezhnev, Andrey Makarevich (recognized as a foreign agent) to dance at school … Modern teenagers simply do not know who these aunts and uncles are, and even if they are familiar with their “cultural heritage”, for sure will not dance under it.
