All-Russian youth bandy competitions will again be held in Arkhangelsk

From January 23 to 29 in Arkhangelsk, on the ice of the Trud stadium, the preliminary stage of the All-Russian bandy competition among boys 15-16 years old will be held. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.
Ten teams from Arkhangelsk, Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Murmansk, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod regions, Moscow, the Komi Republic and Tatarstan will take part in the starts. The tournament will take place in two stages. At the first, all participants are divided into two groups, after the games in which play-off matches will take place. The three strongest teams will receive tickets to the decisive stage of the competition.
– Next year the Vodnik team will celebrate its centenary. Throughout its history, it was mainly staffed by local students. “I have no doubt that the young shoots will grow into future stars of all-Russian and world bandy,” noted the Minister of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region, Alexey Aksyonov.
