The exhibition, numbering more than 30 artifacts of the 19th-20th centuries, was brought to Perm from Ryazan by collector Dmitry Bochkov. The collector’s plans include opening seven wrestling museums, including in Perm. “The cities were not chosen by chance; these are the territories where there is a history of wrestling and outstanding athletes,” said Dmitry Bochkov.
The exhibits of the Museum of Russian Wrestling are still in the Sports Complex named after. Sukharev, and anyone can get to know them. From October 19 to 22, the collection will be housed in the PermExpo exhibition space, where the international sports forum “Russia is a Sports Power” will be held.
