All Russian schools received a new history textbook with a section on SVO

In anticipation of the start of the academic year, all Russian schools received new history textbooks for senior classes. This was announced on Thursday, August 31, in the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The head of the department, Sergei Kravtsov, stressed on the air of the Rossiya-1 TV channel that all eleventh grade students would be provided with a history textbook, a new state textbook.
The minister confirmed that the new textbook contains a section on the special military operation in Ukraine, and also contains information about the entry into the Russian Federation of four new subjects.
Earlier in Kursk, representatives of the regional pedagogical sphere discussed the introduction of a new unified history textbook for students in grades 10-11 into the curriculum. Historians from Kursk schools and universities noted study guide benefits: it contains reliable historical facts, and the description of events is carried out synchronously, global events are compared with what is happening in Russia at that time.
At the same time, QR codes and links to archival materials and other necessary sources of information from the Presidential Library are printed in the new history textbooks. This will enable students to use documentary sources and materials from archives.
