All-Russian parent meeting will be held for parents

Traditionally, before the start of the new school year, on August 31 at 10:30 am (Moscow time), the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, will hold the IX All-Russian Parents’ Meeting, at which he will talk about the implementation of the President’s program for the overhaul of schools, parental control over repairs and construction, ” the gold standard of education”, a unified educational program and much more, according to the Ministry of Education of Russia.

The collection of questions from all over the country shows that parents are concerned about issues related to education according to a single program and single sets of textbooks, the participation of the parent community in education, hot meals in schools, the organization of parental control over repairs and the burden on students, and the prospects for the development of the All-Russian Social and State Movement children and youth. The Minister of Education of Russia will answer these and many other questions.

Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev will also take part in the All-Russian Parents’ Meeting.

The meeting will be held in the format of an open interregional dialogue with participation from all federal districts of the country. The meeting’s hotline has already received more than 6,000 calls. Also this year, within the framework of the August pedagogical conferences, special “parental sections” worked in almost all regions of Russia, thanks to the activities of which more than 30 thousand questionnaires were collected with questions and wishes of parents to the education system.

Among the key topics of the parent meeting are education programs at school, parental control over the repair and construction of school infrastructure, the My School information system and other issues.

A live broadcast of the event will be available on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Russia, as well as in the official community of the Ministry on the VKontakte social network.

Every year, starting from 2014, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the National Parent Association hold the All-Russian Parent Meeting. The direct dialogue between the head of the Ministry of Education of Russia and the parents of the country makes it possible to receive feedback, hear opinions on various areas of development of education and upbringing, evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing projects and programs, and also convey to the parent community the position of the Ministry of Education of Russia on significant topics, talk about innovations and prospects.

On the eve of the event, questions from the parent community and the professional community are collected and analyzed. The All-Russian Parent Meeting is being broadcast live. For parents, this event is an opportunity to hear answers to their questions.
